From the tender age of 9, she exhibited an innate connection to melodies and rhythms as she penned her first composition, "Come Down," a heartfelt ode to her late brother Brandon. This poignant tribute set the stage for her musical journey, planting the seeds of her gift for storytelling through song.
Maddie's artistic courage flourished within the embrace of her church's worship band when, at the age of 13, she found herself standing before hundreds of people each week, her voice radiating with a newfound confidence. These experiences were her early steps towards becoming a singer and storyteller capable of touching hearts with every note.
The world, however, had its own plans. The COVID-19 pandemic brought about a period of isolation and introspection. Armed with resilience and a vintage pump organ from the 1800s, a relic of the past that seemed to resonate with her soul, she embarked on a journey of self-discovery. The pump organ's keys became the canvas upon which Maddie painted her thoughts and feelings. While she eventually transitioned to a Yamaha piano, that pump organ remains a cherished muse, a source of inspiration that guides her creative wanderings.

Maddie found solace and strength within the fabric of her melodies during a time when she grappled with the shackles of a toxic relationship. Songwriting became her lifeline, offering a sanctuary where judgment and ridicule held no power. Here, she discovered the power of turning adversity into inspiration and pain into poetry.
